WASHINGTON D.C. – Three previously undisclosed individuals have been named in connection with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein's network during confidential testimony on Capitol Hill last week. Sarah Kellen, described in court documents as a close associate of Epstein, provided the names during a private interview with the House Oversight Committee, according to sources familiar with the ongoing review. The individuals named are celebrity hair stylist Frederic Fekkai, former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, and deceased fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
"She was very brave coming forward. I can’t imagine how difficult it was for her to go into detail about the abuse that she endured at the hands of Epstein and (Ghislaine) Maxwell." — James Comer, House Oversight Committee Chairman
The emergence of these names has refocused public attention on the extensive federal investigation into Epstein's activities, which has been ongoing for years. While the testimony has generated significant discussion, officials emphasize that the inclusion of names in testimony or investigative files does not constitute an establishment of wrongdoing. No official findings or criminal charges have been announced against any of the individuals mentioned.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) confirmed that Kellen's interview took place, describing it as one of the most detailed sessions conducted to date in the committee’s investigation. Chairman Comer noted that the individuals named had not appeared in previous materials reviewed by lawmakers. He commended Kellen's bravery, stating, "She was very brave coming forward. I can’t imagine how difficult it was for her to go into detail about the abuse that she endured at the hands of Epstein and (Ghislaine) Maxwell."
Frederic Fekkai, a prominent figure in the hair and fashion industry, has been previously referenced in connection with Epstein-related materials and has acknowledged traveling on Epstein’s private aircraft. Through an attorney, Fekkai has strongly denied any wrongdoing and rejected allegations of involvement in illegal activity. His representative stated that Fekkai was unaware of Epstein’s criminal conduct and "never abused anyone" or participated in any illicit behavior, as reported by NewsNation.
Philip Levine, a former mayor of Miami Beach, has also publicly addressed his limited association with Epstein in prior statements. Levine indicated that his contact stemmed from a social connection with Ghislaine Maxwell and that he met Epstein only a few times. He has denied conducting business with Epstein, visiting his private island, or flying on his aircraft, expressing regret over ever meeting him.
Patrick Demarchelier, a well-known fashion photographer who passed away, was previously accused of sexual misconduct in a 2018 Boston Globe report. He denied those allegations during his lifetime. No criminal charges were filed against Demarchelier in relation to Epstein or the broader trafficking investigation.
Sarah Kellen herself has been portrayed in prior court filings as both a participant in Epstein's operation and a victim of coercion. In interviews, she has expressed hope that her testimony will encourage other survivors to come forward. "I have no doubt there are countless women currently trapped in similar situations that could be helped by hearing my story," she remarked to MS NOW. During her questioning, committee members also noted that Kellen discussed Epstein’s wider network, including political figures, stating she had no knowledge regarding President Donald Trump.
Lawmakers added that previous survivor interviews had not yielded new names until this session. Investigators continue to review materials provided by the Department of Justice, and the committee expects a transcript of the closed-door testimony to be released following internal review and redaction procedures. Historically, Epstein-related civil records and investigative materials have contained numerous references to individuals across various social, professional, and business circles, many of whom were later determined to have had only limited or indirect contact. To date, only Ghislaine Maxwell has been convicted in connection with Epstein’s trafficking operation. The investigation remains ongoing as additional documents are examined.
